SOA CET Course Offered
The SOACET (School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test) offers admission to a range of specialized aviation courses designed to prepare students for careers in the aerospace and aviation industries. These programs focus on both technical engineering education and regulatory training in aircraft maintenance. Students can choose between degree, diploma, and integrated pathways depending on their qualifications and career goals. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with hands-on training in modern labs and live aircraft environments.

The School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test (SOACET) is conducted for admission into various aviation programs at the School of Aeronautics, Neemrana. The eligibility criteria for these programs are as follows:
SOA CET Scholarships
The School of Aeronautics (SOA) offers a comprehensive scholarship program for students pursuing Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), and Integrated courses. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, performance in entrance exams, and academic achievements. Additionally, special concessions are available for students from specific categories, including OBC/SC/ST, female candidates, sports achievers, and children of military personnel. The maximum scholarship amount per semester can reach up to ₹2,00,000.
SOACET 2026 – Entrance Test for Admission into Aeronautical Engineering, AME & Integrated Courses
SOACET 2026 (School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the School of Aeronautics, Neemrana, and serves as the gateway to a promising career in aviation. Through this exam, candidates can secure admission into various specialized programs, including B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), and an Integrated Dual Program combining both B.Tech (Aeronautical) and AME. All the courses offered are fully approved and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for B.Tech programs, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for AME courses. The degrees are affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU) or Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). Both AICTE and DGCA are the apex regulatory authorities overseeing technical and aviation education in India. The SOACET exam is held annually across multiple centers throughout the country, typically in the months of May or June.
Note:- For AME, Students should not have color blindness.

Registration Fee for the School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test (SOACET) is Rs. 1000/-. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future SOACET.
PROCEDURE OF APPLYING FOR ENTRANCE TEST (SOACET 2026)
Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates of residents of India, and Indian Nationals residing in other countries, for admission into the first-year B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & AME program run in SOA.

SOACET 2026 Exam Syllabus
The SOACET 2026 Exam Syllabus is designed to test the foundational knowledge of candidates in core science and engineering subjects. It is based on standard topics from the 10+2 curriculum and diploma-level engineering studies. The exam aims to evaluate the candidate’s understanding and application of concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Training for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME Admission) program at SOA has been approved by the DGCA. The license Examination is conducted by the DGCA. The duration of training at the institute is 2 years, phased over four semesters.
This 2 Years is having 2400 Hrs of planned training out of which 2050 Hrs will be in class rooms and labs, 350 will in actual maintenance environment, i.e at MRO. School of Aeronautics has tied up with Air India, which is India’s largest MRO. Total Aviation Experience requirement to obtain B 1.1 or B2 license is as per CAR 66.
Different types of Avionics & Mechanical workshops give an opportunity to the student to study various theories & Practicals of Avionics & Mechanical systems of an aircraft. In short SOA provide all facilities to make a student a successful Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

B.Tech. AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING
B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering (Approved by AICTE and Affiliated to Bikaner Technical University – BTU) is a specialized undergraduate program focused on the design, development, and construction of aircraft and spacecraft. This field of engineering combines principles of physics, mathematics, aerodynamics, and material science to develop machines that can fly — including airplanes, helicopters, satellites, missiles, and space vehicles. Aeronautical engineers play a crucial role in creating safer, more energy-efficient, and cost-effective means of air and space travel. Their work involves the study of propulsion systems, the behavior of air over surfaces (aerodynamics), and the selection of appropriate materials and technologies used in the manufacture of flying machines.
These engineers contribute to the development of advanced vehicles, such as aircraft that weigh over a million pounds yet take off smoothly, or spacecraft capable of traveling at speeds exceeding 17,000 miles per hour.

Integrated course is a combined course of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, in which students will appear for two different examinations for isssue of Degree and Licence. Both the courses will be running parallel to each other, at the end of four years students will have both B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, their by making him eligible for both manufacturing as well Maintenance jobs related to aircrafts. This will also enhance the placement probabilities as we will be able to apply every type of job available in aviation industry, either related to manufacturing or maintenance.
